1. Vacuum cleaners of different models and specifications vary in structural performance and functional features. Therefore, you must read the user manual carefully before using the purchased vacuum cleaner to avoid damage to the machine or personal safety hazards caused by improper use.
2. The vacuum cleaner should be used in a dry indoor environment or similar conditions with an altitude of no more than 1000 meters, good ventilation, an ambient temperature not exceeding 40℃, and no flammable or corrosive gases in the air.
3. Before use, first securely connect the hose to the suction inlet on the main unit. Tighten and fasten the hose to all extended connecting pipes, as well as the suction nozzles at the end of the pipes (e.g., furniture brush, crevice nozzle, floor brush). Since the crevice nozzle has a small air inlet, it generates high noise during use and should not be operated continuously for an extended period.
4. Connect the earth wire to ensure electrical safety. Do not use the vacuum cleaner continuously for more than 1 hour at a time to prevent the motor from overheating and burning out.
5. For vacuum cleaners equipped with an automatic cord rewinder, pull out the power cord to a sufficient length for use and do not pull it to the maximum extent. Stop pulling when a yellow or red mark is visible on the power cord. To retract the cord, press the button and it will retract automatically.
6. A vacuum cleaner is generally equipped with two switches: one on the main unit and the other on the handle of the hose. When in use, turn on the switch on the main unit first, then the one on the handle.
7. During daily use, avoid getting the vacuum cleaner wet and never operate the machine with wet hands. Remove large pieces of paper, paper balls, plastic sheets, or any objects larger than the diameter of the suction pipe from the area to be cleaned in advance; otherwise, the suction inlet and pipeline may become clogged.
8. Adjust the suction control device appropriately according to the cleaning scenario. There is a circular hole on the elbow pipe with an adjusting ring: the suction power is at maximum when the ring covers the hole, and at minimum when the ring fully exposes the hole. Some vacuum cleaners adjust suction power by regulating the motor speed.
9. When a large amount of debris accumulates in the dust collection cup, remove the debris and clean the dust off the filter at the same time to keep the air passage unobstructed. This prevents reduced suction power, motor overheating, and shortened service life of the vacuum cleaner caused by filter blockage.
10. After prolonged use, excessive dust buildup on the filter belt will cause a drop in suction power. At this point, shake the dust shaker rack on the vacuum cleaner to restore suction. If shaking the rack fails to restore suction, it indicates the dust cup is full and the debris should be removed promptly. This step is related to the maintenance of vacuum cleaners, for which you can refer to the relevant guide for more details.
