Its advantages include no frequent dust bag replacement and zero consumables, which avoids additional financial costs; the only drawback is the need to clean the dust cup after vacuuming. As an upgraded version of bagged filtration, dust cup filtration is the primary filtration method for vacuums, and most models on the market adopt this design.

4. Water Filtration
Water is used as the filtration medium to trap dust and microorganisms in the water, and further filtration ensures the exhausted air is cleaner than the inhaled air. The filtration effect of water filtration is unquestionable, and such vacuums are wet and dry dual-use—they can suck up common broken glass, metal nails, turbid food residue, sauces, drinks and tea, leaves, renovation dust, and other substances that ordinary vacuums struggle to handle. The only disadvantage is that water needs to be added before each use, and the machine requires cleaning after use.
